Passion PR Consulting was founded in Orlando, Florida in 2012 on the principle that only the best public relations efforts are performed when the person conducting them is passionate about the company, product or person they represent. With over 20 years of communications experience working at and alongside local and national news media platforms, combined with a profound passion for entertainment, Passion PR Owner and Publicist Ilene Lieber happily and proudly puts this belief into practice with her boutique public relations company.
A skilled media consultant, writer and self-professed pop culture junkie, Ilene launched Passion PR after working as a publicist for E! Entertainment Television in Los Angeles. There she gained invaluable experience developing national publicity campaigns for popular television series, working with high-profile talent and establishing relationships with media contacts across the country.
At the onset of her career, Ilene made her mark on the industry as the Public Relations and Marketing Director for Orlando Style Magazine, heading up promotional, sales and marketing efforts and serving as a key player in the growth of the publication to the leading luxury lifestyle magazine in Central Florida.
She was a co-host of the weekly variety comedy radio show “Local Heroes Show” on WPRK 91.5 FM from 2014-2016. In addition, she was a featured speaker at the SheKnows BlogHer17 Conference, awarded as a “40 Under 40” honoree by Orlando Business Journal in 2017, and Ilene received several “Best Local Author” nominations for her children’s book “Zoey’s Adventures to the Ice Cream Shop”. She also leads the monthly For Love of Zoey Pet Loss Support Group in Orlando.
Ilene has a degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida. She is a huge animal lover and devoted dog mom to “puplicists” Mini Aussie Teddy and Golden Angel Zoey. She is thrilled to continue to put her knowledge, experience and passion into good practice and help bring the finest brands, businesses and faces in entertainment and hospitality into the spotlight with Passion PR for over a decade.
